Mirage is the latest song from Portland singer Alexandra Savior. The song chronicles Savior searching and finally finding her sound as a artist. She starts crying in the movie theaters and clubs, uncertain about her sound as she constantly singing what they want her to sing. In her confusion she finds sense in her alter-ego, Anna Marie Mirage. Mirage is confident and unapologetic, “singing whatever the fuck she wants.”

With its 1970’s feel, Mirage feels like a psychedelic trip into the past. The Bond-esque theme lays the foundation for Alexandra Savior’s smooth drawl, which controls every aspect of the instrumental. Even her simple melodic “la”, showcases confidence. Mirage is the lead single of her latest project. Highly recommend checking it out.
